Bluesky seems to be the new Twitter and seems happy, like here used to feel. Not easy to build up a new following, I’ve been here since 2011 with 2k+ followers now, whereas I’ve been on Bluesky since December 2023 and have 157 followers. Worth it though!

Always a joy to play the 1996 Marcussen organ in Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall. Today two pre-degree ceremony recitals (am/pm) for the @OpenUniversity and the Processional/Recessional Music, the latter of which will be #Widor’s Toccata from his fifth symphony. You may know it!

This Sunday 27 October 2024 at 4pm come and hear the fine Norman & Beard organ in New Road Methodist Church, Stourbridge. This is the first organ recital the church has hosted in many, many years, so I was delighted to be asked to play. Admission £6 including refreshments.

This Thursday 3 Oct, 1:15pm in @StChadsBirm. All the pieces on the programme have something to say and are well worth hearing, but the Widor Choral in particular sounds absolutely lush on the St Chad’s Cathedral Walker organ - and really has to be heard in the flesh. Free entry.
