Nominations are now being accepted for the Frohnmayer Award or Public Service! This award is given annually in Portland since 2002 by the Law School Alumni Association. Nominations are open through November 30, 2022

Tanya Monthey utilized her 2022 OLSPIF stipend as an intern at the Metropolitan Public Defender (MPD) as a Certified Law Student, managing her own misdemeanor caseload. Monthey works with clients, conducts investigations, negotiates, and appears in court.

Cooper Mittlehauser received a 2022 OLSPIF stipend and due to its funds was able to work with the Great Rivers Environmental Law Center (GRELC). This provides free and reduced-fee legal services to those who work to protect the environment and public health.
