@JakeHartley_nkc @AshleyaTLC We freshened up the cheetah today. I wanted to reuse the text, "We may have different stories, but we all belong," but I couldn't figure out the text placement around the cheetah, so I went with a shorter text.

It's still a bit wet in the picture above where I tried to clean off the faded colors but hopefully, that will dry and not look as cloudy around it. What we cleaned up and colored in...

We went back today to add the text. The shadow from the column and reflections off of the windows made for an interesting picture. If anyone there wants to share a decent picture of it later, please tag me... At the Adult Education & Literacy Center

@JakeHartley_nkc @AshleyaTLC We stopped by today because I couldn't believe it was still there and I'm shocked that it's still recognizable! I want to freshen up the colors the next time we have decent weather.

If I ever get to make them at the schools, I want to use a different word for each. DREAM, UNITY, SERVICE, and LOVE. One of these years.

For a teacher who has been there for us for over 10 years, first as my youngest's SAGE teacher for K-2 and now as the SAGE counselor at Oak Park. She had one of the earlier canvases to share at SAGE and had mentioned she was sad to leave it behind, so I made a new one for her.

We were visiting family when I made this chalk drawing. I appreciate the library sharing their sidewalk with me--and my family for going out with me on a somewhat chilly day because they knew I needed to smear some colors around. At Jack McConnico Memorial Library in Selmer, TN

I'd love to see a version of the We are one with the puzzle piece heart in the high school colors, but I won't be including it with mine because of the reason it was made for NKCHS. Someone mentioned back then they'd like it as a shirt, but I feel it shouldn't be me doing it.
