Added another of the saints commemorated on Jan 17 to the blog today - St Molaisse of Kilmolash, Co Waterford. He is one of 40 saints of this name, alas, nothing much seems to be known about him: @catholicheritag

February 2 is the feast of St Columbanus of Ghent, 10th c. Irish anchorite , d. 959. Lived in hermitage attached to St Bavo's cemetery in Ghent and regarded as one of the city's patrons. @catholicheritag

Added a saint new to the blog today. Saint Ultán of Cúl Corra is one of a number of obscure saints found on the Irish calendars on Jan 17. Not much known. but may be from the area of Lough Derravarragh assoc with the Children of Lir: @catholicheritag

St Maignenn of Kilmainham will be the main saint on All the Saints of Ireland tonight, Fri, Dec 20 at 7pm on @RadioMariaIRE. We will also meet some of our island saints, 4 saints of the last day of the year and hear 'On Christmas day, 1678' by Bp Luke Wadding. @catholicheritag
