I came up with a flowchart/mini-guide on fixing controller issues on GG+R, focused on causing minimum disruption to offline tournaments.
This should cover 99% of all cases, at Combo Breaker we only had 1 controller that got to the Big Picture step, none at Evo.

Low key I think a lot of the frustrations from SF6 stem from the game shutting down autopiloting harder than any other fg I've played. You can't stop paying attention for even a second, and unfortunately a large portion of the playerbase gets stuck on autopilot a lot...

Update: it's been tedious at times but I now have 4 mini PCs that can boot up +R hands-free in 45 seconds with 1000hz overclocked USB ports. Pad shown for size comparison, these really are "mini" PCs
Excited to help bring the +R community a smooth offline tourney experience!
Managed to get +R to run smooth as butter on 720p with only $130 worth of refurb hardware! This mini PC also has built in speakers.
Would love to test run this setup at FL locals for a bit before taking the plunge to potentially scale up for CB/CEO 2023 +R on PC 👀

The best part of +R replay takeover is that it turns an efficient but sometimes tedious/unfun part of getting better - reviewing losses - into a fun "what-if?" puzzle to solve. Then you get to implement the solution immediately and feel good.

Found this mod that hides rank info in SF6. The MR system is great for practice and good matchmaking, but it can lead to a counterproductive "play to win at all costs" instead of "play to learn" mentality while practicing. Gonna try it myself.

It's amazing that +R is still getting QoL updates on top of the already excellent netcode. The button settings menu and audio device selection are a godsend for offline tournaments.
