May this 80th #HolocaustRemembranceDay serve as a reminder to humanity to not only remember the past, but also to reflect on the devastating consequences of "othering" and its fatal impact on human lives. #HMD2025

For Kinyarwanda language to thrive in the digital age, there is a need to view it as a "factor of production". This requires a mindset shift, from the traditional era where a cow ("Inka") was a symbol of wealth, to the modern economy where money replaced the bartering system.

Thank you, @e_murangwa, for your great work at @FoundIshami. As Ngũgĩ wa Thiong'o would say, "Written words can also sing." This therefore invites an understanding of a bottom-up approach, where each element of the #knowledge production ecosystem plays a vital role. Be blessed!

I completely agree,&that's why we at the @FoundIshami have partnered with others to start addressing this need. However,it's crucial to foster more collaborative efforts to develop a robust,long-term solution, with the institutions you mentioned playing a key role in this endeavor.

While I appreciate that teacher who invited you, I wld also say that this angle of debate requires an understanding of “transactional language & knowledge production.” Collaboration and an assessment of knowledge production @Uni_Rwanda on #GenocideAgainsttutsi would be an ideal!

I must admit I was disappointed, though not surprised, to learn that Hotel Rwanda is still being used as an educational resource. I was already aware that it remains widely utilised in many Western schools, primarily because it is one of the most readily available materials.
