@AmericanGwyn I genuinely love your posts and I love Mccarthy’s writing, but having sat a horse in a cold morning rounding up cattle, I can tell you saddles creak in hit, warm, cool, and cold weather. I, for one, could not tell the difference in the creak and the temperature.

@JamesNiehues @mountsnow 👍 I have a 11 year old who loves moguls so am I rather forced to skin them more than I’d like. At 54, I can only do about 11 mogul only runs before my legs start to get tired.

@simongerman600 I asked my current publisher for a fold out. The cost was prohibitive. I mean like a lot more for the book. A.lot.more. But I agree, a map like that is awesome!

@Dr_W_E_Bulmer Absolutely agree here. For the record, this particular book is academic. I see it being read at a desk ( though it may be boring enough to put one to sleep!)🤣
