Loving Katie’s shocked discovery that the Edgware Road has Lebanese shops. The area was built by Huguenot immigrants, had the UK’s first Indian restaurant in 1810, and has had the UK’s largest Arab community since the 1800s. It’s almost as if Katie doesn’t understand our country.

This is Robert Peel, founder of British policing. Because of him, our police aren’t armed - he is why UK police killed just 3 people last year, while US police killed 1,536. So writing All Cops Are Bastards on him may undermine your case. As may the murderous hammer and sickle.

Conservatives won Barnet’s West Hendon ward from Labour for the first time in 44 years. It wasn’t just Jewish voters - West Hendon has twice as many Muslim and Hindu residents as Jewish. But residents of all creeds took a stand for their Jewish neighbours. Barnet: be proud.

New UK aid package = £84m. Current UK aid = £15,400m (183 times as much). African GDP = £2,400,000m (28,571 times as much). The idea that this drop in the ocean will transform Africa’s economy and so stop illegal immigration is utterly disingenuous.

It is now vital and urgent for the UK to allow its British Nationals (Overseas) and as many other Hong Kongers as possible to come to live and work permanently in the UK if they wish. The UK must be a safe harbour for Hong Kongers yearning to breathe free.

Hugh Grant is campaigning for Corbynistas in the hope of electing a Corbyn-led government backed by Lib Dems. They are one and the same. Every single vote for the Lib Dems is a vote for Corbyn. Even, sadly, in Finchley & Golders Green. Vote Conservative or you’ll get Corbyn.

The Independent Adviser on Ministerial Standards advised Starmer to sack Tulip Siddiq. Starmer chose not to. He said he was only accepting it with "sadness". And he said would keep the ministerial "door open" to her. Weak. Weak. Weak.

1) It was a gift. 2) You both earn £81,932 as MPs. He earns a bit more as a minister (as you did). 3) He can be a minister, because unlike you and every other Labour MP, he didn't campaign to put Jeremy Corbyn in No10. 4) Your rancid politics of envy is why Corbyn's not in No10.

Surprised at how calmly I kept saying, “No, you’re going to sit down and be quiet” when the guy kept shouting inches from my face that he’d fuck me up. And surprised that he eventually complied, to be honest. .

Erm, Ardern deliberately used *exactly* the same language - “left nothing in the tank” - as former New Zealand PM John Key when he resigned in 2016.

Once again: The monarchy costs taxpayers NOTHING. Zero. Zip. Zilch. Nada. Not one penny. The Sovereign Grant - which replaced the civil list in 2012 - is a fixed percentage of the Crown Estate’s income: 75% of which still goes to the government.

Labour ministers didn't meet Vauxhall's owners even once in the four months before they announced the closure of the Luton plant. No wonder they thought the Government wasn't listening and that they had to close it.

UK GDP fell in September, when it had been expected to rise by 0.2%. And even that was propped up by rising oil and gas extraction: a sector that Labour plan to shut down. All the red warning lights are flashing.

Change in employment in manufacturing:. Conservatives (since 2010): +123,000.Labour (1997-2010): -1,468,000. Yes, that's 1.5 million manufacturing jobs lost under Labour. The only party that will support manufacturing is the Conservatives. #ITVdebate.
