All these yeye logic you people are pushing is wack, if you borrowed £1k from the bank, you pay back £1k to the bank…I did not send you naira, you will not send me naira, whether naira falls or rises, you will pay back in the denomination you got it. Simple.
Some guy lent his friend N1M to pay for a £1000 international exam in the UK. He sent it as £1k exchanged via an app to N1M. Then £1=N1000. Last month, the guy wanted to repay the money and he paid back N1M but at this point £1=N2000. Dude refused to take the N1M. He wants his money as £1000. Their friendship has gone sour because of this. This is what happens when you don’t clearly define your financial transactions.
