A Room with The View. There is no such thing as an average view from The Tasting Room. No matter where you sit, you are treated to the spectacular panoramic view of the valley, with our iconic Rondekop as the centerpiece.

Bâtonnage and beautiful barrels. These brand new barrels hold the 2024 vintage of Oldenburg Vineyards Chardonnay. They are enjoying some of the Spring sunshine as part of bâtonnage - the process of gently stirring up the lees, to extract flavour, aroma and texture into the wine.

Guinea fowl in the vineyards. These feathered friends help us combat leaf roll virus by eating numerous vineyard pests. Their participation in our regenerative farming practices align with our commitment to sustainable and as a WWF Conservation Champion

As we make our way into Spring, the vineyard comes alive with beautiful young green buds. This period is known as budburst or budbreak, triggered by the rise in temperature, it is the first sign of new life after their winter dormancy. Read more here:
