Welcome to the NHIS family; Mrs Louisa Attah- Agyemang , my Deputy CEO in charge of operations. That smile when your new deputy is the brain behind the photo 📸
The smile that forms when the Director of your hospital calls you into her office to thank you for working for free and not taking fuel or any type of allowance for the work done .
Thanks Dr. Asante for your commitment and dedication to duty
If we buy our own, we create opportunities for our own and help build our own country. Proud to receive my brother,

in my office a few days ago, wearing the same watch as myself, the CAVEMAN watch made in Ghana by Ghanaians.Have a CAVEMAN weekend.
What I love doing at home when you do not find me on the soccer pitch on a Sunday. Lifting weights adds some muscles, muscles in turn improve metabolism and a polished metabolism ultimately produces a strong immune system. All physical exercises are worth doing .
# Just Do It
On Tuesday I had the privilege of donating a brand new ambulance to the Teshie community clinic. This clinic that serves as the first point of call in medical emergencies have had to depend on taxi drivers to transport the citizenry to referral hospitals.
When I was in KNUST , I used to support Fabulous Asante KOTOKO until Prof. Tsiri Agbenyaga tried to get me to go Phobia.
Let's find one physical activity at least, worth our time, heart, and mind. Remember, life is movement and movement is life! Have a Blessed Week.
Yesterday, I was fortunate enough to personally present an advanced copy of my new book titled "Fellow Ghanaians: Telling Ghana's COVID-19 Story: A Journey of Fear, Facts, Faith and Fortune" to Rt Hon Alban S.K Bagbin.
The joint is called ABONTIN, run by one conscious man named CHRIS, along the KPESHIE police station- to GNAT hostel Road in the Teshie Nungua Enclave.
What you see is even small compared to the environment. This Kenkey Mosaic is available on Sundays.
First game after becoming minister designate.
Those that keep you company when you are nobody are the best to help you keep your form when you become somebody.
As the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for the Ledzokuku Constituency, I remain committed to getting every inner road in the Constituency worked on.
This government is responding to my pleas. May it remain so for long.
Met the Hon. Roads Minister en route to Assin North yesterday. Your dedication to duty is amazing; standing in the rain and experiencing the progress personally.
Yesterday morning I was at the LEKMA Hospital to do general consultations. Out of about 20 patients seen, 17 had their National Health Insurance being active whiles 3 were without health insurance. This patient had all medications given to her without paying anything.
I thank you for all the support and prayers. Together we shall build a robust and resilient health system, sensitive to our needs and conscious of our challenges.
She did her best for me, got me a bicycle when I was in JSS because we couldn’t afford a car. She offered me her prayers when I got admission into medical school because the fees was too much for her, got assisted by her son in law to pay seven years of medical education.
The body must be able to obey the instructions of the brain. If it doesn't then more exercises are needed, but if it does then the attire must have been a Hearts of Oak Jersey 🤣. Scored one goal today; dedicated to Christian Atsu, thanks to the Phobia spirit.
When I told my community that an ordinary football field called the Teshie Star Park will one day become the most impressive community Stadium in Accra, many doubted it.
The work on Greda Estate internal roads continues. This morning I was glad to find out that many more roads I spoke about with Hon. Amoako Attah have been added to the package. Let’s keep working till the transformation is complete.
Wherever a car will take you, a bike can also. It is not how fast you make it, it is how authentic your means is that counts.
A blessed week I wish you.
Today, I presented a Sanitation Vehicle to PRESEC LEGON, my Alma Mata. When I was informed that handling the huge volumes of waste generated by a population of over 4,000 students was becoming a big challenge,
A toast in celebration of seven wins for PRESEC LEGON at the National Science and Maths Quiz. The best Senior High School in Africa remains PRESEC LEGON. Congratulations to the boys and to all Odadees
Yesterday marked 41 years of living here on this earth. 41 years of the Lord's goodness and mercy. Had a good time with children at the Assurance of Hope Orphanage, Teshie, located at the Teshie Nungua Estates.

Paid a visit to the office of the Director of the LEKMA Hospital yesterday and met these great health colleagues; I call them the OPD capos😍. In this life, your assets remain your colleagues, those who know not only what people say you are but most importantly what you stand for
Handing the BRAND NEW AMBULANCE to the TESHIE COMMUNITY CLINIC is a great source of joy.
The leader's job is to identify gaps and fill them, observe the situation and intervene; for unto us is service, and a charge to do good to all of our people.
We entered the 7th PARLIAMENT in 2017. Both backbenchers and without portfolio. He was my good friend, I liked him because he was so calm and was quick to mention my strengths to me ,encouraging me to continue working hard and that I was going to go places in the future.
Over the weekend my medical team and I spent time with hundreds of constituents checking and managing their health status. Sometimes all you need to give is the skills you have and not material things.
Three hours of biking on Saturday afternoon and the benefits are as follows:
800 kcalories burnt.

An 82 year old puts me to counsel, telling me the secrets to long life.
Yesterday I had the rare privilege of meeting Sir Sam Jonah. Witnessed simplicity and warmth at first encounter, mentorship assured in the subsequent ones. You see your real size when you meet a giant. I pray that I become a big man one day 🤣
This morning at the Lekma Hospital, I had the privilege of interacting with the Hospital director to appreciate better those issues that matter to our service providers.
A week ago, I led the NHIS soccer team to a 3-3 draw game at the Tamale Sports Stadium. The biggest asset of an organisation is its staff, whether at the office or on the pitch. Scored one genuine goal 🤣
A mother is one who makes you want to attempt again even when you miss a goal, one who makes you find a reason to push forward even when all points to a stop. On this day, May the Lord continue to preserve all mothers and make them great and strong.Happy Mothers Day
@RAkufoAddo
When you hear them screaming your name, the least you can do is to sit for the shot before handing over their drinks.
To have a feel of the future, you've got to get close to such a squad.
En route to work this morning, stopped by some Waakye joint to get my favourite dish. Had to say hello to this warm and friendly owner of the Waakye business. Our women, our mothers remain the pillar of not only our lives but the economy as well.
Our dreams are conceived by the brain, nurtured by the mind, and carried by the body.
Let's stay active to preserve the vessel of our dreams.
A great year I wish you. 🙏🏽
Working at fitness in the body is equally as important as efforts towards spiritual fitness. A man or woman fit at both ends is a beauty to behold. Unfortunately no goals for me this weekend, I suspect the Manchester United jersey I wore yesterday
I had the opportunity this morning to check on drain works within the Ledzokuku Constituency. The Sammy Adjei area drains are being constructed by the contractor I worked with to do the Akosombo No. 1 and 1st Junction drains.
This time the game was on a Saturday, with former footballers of the Teshie community.
The song says our Rock is the Almighty, well put in Ga; He is our rock and our Salvation.
Have a blessed week guys.
This morning I had the privilege of hosting this wonderful man, then my teacher, now a father to me. Unto the Lord be the glory for great things He has done. Prof Tsiri Agbenyega, in fact, you are too much!

This morning I made it to the King Kotey Street ( Manfi Junction to Goono School ) where the road ministry subsequent to my engagements continues to work on Teshie’s Inner Roads .
The most beautiful game in the world . The most beautiful environment to connect to those in whom sovereignty and power resides.
Sunday action at Goono school
My sincere gratitude goes to the Fellow Ghanaians himself, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. Without your speeches, this book would have been an illusion.
On a community outreach, I came across the wife of the contractor working on Ledzokuku inner roads. You can just imagine the elation and chemistry . In fact Hajia is too much
A woman you must meet; affable, intelligent, driven, compassionate, beautiful,... I trust the Lord will help us to see the projects we discussed actualized.
Those moments when you run into an indoor games session organized by your organization and then suddenly your camera guy brings on the 5 aside soccer match. Even without boots, the lessons learnt from life on the streets pops up.
A tour of my community today brought up a situation that brings a lot of hope. Projects lobbied whiles in office are still being pursued by this government. The Yoomo Specs Drain is under serious construction.
The price of freedom is unquantifiable, the very reason why we must come together and see to how to combat our true enemies- poverty, disease, illiteracy and tribalism , rather than fighting each other.
Yesterday I had the privilege of commissioning the Teshie Nungua Estates Library, situated on the Library Park opposite the Ledzokuku Municipal Assembly. I used this library when I was in primary school and was saddened by its, closure and abandoned state when I became MP.
