MTN and Vodafone are not the only ISP's and Starlink isn't the only solution. There are local companies that actually use the same technology as starlink and have been in the country and are licensed.
Happy for Ms. Demure but I understand what
@maameadwoa247
meant when she talked about brands and celebrities using “Quick quick snack” and not fully connecting it to her for more opportunities
Jackie Appiah is all over billboards and ads for alot of products from furniture hair to food and many more you guys drive by them just like I do but nope none of that matters bcause you’re more committed to painting her as someone who’s using her body to find her lifestyle. SMH
Oh and I’ve noticed working in Ghana a lot of employees have a parent child relationship with their leaders. Culture now influences the company culture and affects productivity as well.
Some cultural norms can be what’s holding back your team.

I just want young DJ’s in Accra to adopt the strategies from DJs in the past and actually break out new artists, have fun, and build a relationship with the culture.
Proud of the future heroes our country is raising in the midst of chaos they showed up in their numbers to speak up for those locked away

Technically you can’t it’ll always involve either profiting from your consumers data or cheap labor that isn’t always a living wage for the average person working in any of the ventures you use to accumulate wealth. Even investing money is you investing in someone else doing it.
I’m learning so much about the Ghanaian market. When they see something working for a company or brand others will literally try to recreate it like make an exact copy of it with no shame that’s so weird to me. That kind of laziness will lead to failure
I get a bit sad watching people’s take on relationships. I think we’ve lost the plot on the purpose of companionship and the role it plays to your purpose as a person
When I say we’re the young money of agencies I meant that

@ClaytheMogul
and myself really built a company to make a big difference in the lives of the people who choose us to work on their campaigns and those who work with us as a team. You can’t be great alone
A lot of us really forget about the unbanked population when we’re thinking of African startups. Not everyone has a smartphone or the capacity to download all of your apps. Which is why a seamless USSD process works before anything else. That’s why MoMo consistently takes over.
I remember one time after sending me numerous messages I ignored I decided to respond by asking the guy if he was single and this guy said it’s lunchtime he’ll respond after he eats 😂
My grandmother became an angel a few months ago and it really has me looking at life differently. She was a businesswoman who empowered so many people and gave back to her community in so many ways up until her death. Awo Yaa was so powerful to many and a loving grandmother to me
Last Wednesday was my birthday. I felt so loved & appreciated thanks to
@mimmyyeboah
&
@agghartey
for helping me bring in my new year. The money is coming for us 💰
Hey guys are you looking for a weekend getaway only a little over an hour away from East Legon? They’re open to the public! The prices are pretty awesome too and there’s easy access to the beach 😍 hit me up for more info.
There are so many young people building dope things on the continent who get discouraged and walk away because there’s a lack of resources and a lot of gate keeping.
Makes me sad I hope all the dreamers keep going for all the things they want and more
I really love my employees at
@askbrandmeister
lol they’re all so unique young and ready to take over the world with a little more experience they really can do it.
Ghanaians are comfortable with meeting up with strangers or telling them the area they live in. They get so offended when you tell them you won’t give out that info. I grew up in America lol they teach you to not do these things from when you’re 5 at least. You’re a stranger lol
Some of the Tech startups in Africa that I’ve met don’t value marketing. I see it all the time in the briefs we get. They think marketing is running ads on Facebook and Instagram with content created on Canva by a marketing intern they’ve hired temporarily.

I’ve been busy taking action, we thank God for amazing experiences and for all I’ve learned in this journey. I’m going to take it and use this knowledge to do bigger and better things

No matter how amazing you are. If you’re not in the right environment you won’t be celebrated. Creatives need to be aware of this and focus on finding their environment.
I really do believe it takes a team to build great things. There will always be someone on that team who may be the face of all the work the world sees but collectively magic is made and the results are amazing.
You can’t do impactful things in this world alone.
Great job on Detty Rave last night Bernard
@mistameister
you might not realize it now but you’ve lit the fire that’ll start a renaissance of cultural moments that’ll make history & start something major on the continent. You pulled it off flawlessly

It’s keloid scarring unfortunately for her that’s how her body heals scars it’s more common in Black, Hispanic and Asian people after having any kind of surgery or deep wounds.
