My great grandfather, Steve Rogers, tried to enlist in the Army several times before finally being accepted & working up to Captain. They said he was too small. Frail. But he had heart. He was not a loser or a sucker. Symbol of America. His plane went down in the Arctic in 1945.

For everyone that starts up with the censorship/First Amendment defense:
1. That only applies to government restricting you
2. Twitter is not government, it is private
3. You agree to terms to be here. Don’t agree? Buh-bye
4. If you don’t like it, request your money back

The video is pretty clear: the suspect is resisting arrest. He was tased and pepper sprayed. Then, without any appearance of a imminent threat to the officers or civilians, the officer shot at him (with her partner standing next to him trying to untangle handcuffs. Bad look all.

I think that’s a false comparison. Driving to your job isn’t part of your job. Most don’t get paid for that.
A more fair comparison is that if your job required you to be hit in the chest several times a day and you get injured/have a health issue because of it.
You have:
1. A running clock
2. Which means a live ball
3. Baltimore players running onto the field
4. Baltimore players with no helmets
5. Again, this is a running clock, so a live play

Undefeated and winning the conference title leaves you out over two one-loss teams, including Alabama who played an FCS team 3 weeks ago?
@atrupar
The correct answer is: “No, we don’t want a reduction in our police officers, firefighters and first responders. That’s exactly why the vaccination policies are in place — to help stop the number one cause of death among them.”

I thought it was going to be the video of Norm on Conan’s last Tonight Show reading a card that said “this is an honor that no one can ever take away.”

1. They were planted.
2. They were declassified in my mind.
3. I can keep classified documents.
4. I didn’t have time to go through them.
How many excuses are we up to now?
@ColumbusPolice
I’m a police supporter, and I know police have a difficult job, but watching this video, it was clear to me the officer was unnecessarily aggressive in this situation.
This cannot be how officers are trained to react in this situation.

Why would they defend any actor who tweets false info about the election, mocks trans pronouns and posts anti-Semitic memes?
Did Ingram do any of this? If not, I’m not sure that is a fair comparison.
“I want Joe Flacco to throw for 300 yards and 3 touchdowns and for Amari Cooper to go over 1000 yards and for Njoku to have another big game and for the defense to play tough and score on a turnover.”
@MaryKayCabot
You really want a player who:
-Is likely going to be suspended for significant time?
-Refused to play?
-Has fewer wins than Baker?
-Could not win with a star like Hopkins?
-Actively sought out 40 different female masseuses?
-You give up 3 1st rounders + other picks/players for?

I think as a journalist, it IS your job to quote them both. AND THEN to find the facts that show that one of the quoted people is wrong, which loses credibility for that person stating the wrong facts/misleading info. That’s a good journalist.
Unpopular take:
It’s too easy to blame Ryan Day.
Both teams were well coached.
It came down to big mistakes by players.
INT by McCord.
Missed FG by Fielding.
Michigan didn’t make big mistakes.
In a big game like this you can’t make big mistakes.

I don’t like what Jacob did/has done.
I don’t like that he had to be shot 7 times in the back.
All that aside, I’m glad that there is some good to come of this. If people are getting together to talk, heal, learn, that sounds like a good thing.

I thought movies like “White House Down” and “Olympus Has Fallen” were unrealistic with how easy it was to infiltrate.
Welp, not after today.
