ICTU on Tuesday will be reporting Multichoice (DStv) to regulatory body for inconsistent practice. Key issue is RSA customers pay reconnection fees (R50) when suspended and yet other African countries pay R0 fees? High subscriber fees too for RSA. We are cutting R50bn arrogance

ICTU calls upon all God fearing citizens, politicians, celebrities, to cancel their subscription with Multichoice (DStv) in solidarity with workers who are about to lose their jobs. They are offered R30 000.00 after 5yrs of service, yet 4 Executives got R54m and still at work.

ICTU announce, after principle discussions, the official transferring of MWASA membership to ICTU due to: (1) SAFTU resolution (1 Union, 1 Sector), (2) Maximize our presence and representation in Media & ICT. ICTU is marching towards establishment of Media Bargaining Council.
