Despite overwhelming support for universal bus lane access for motorcycles, the Gvmt has rejected the proposal. An opportunity to reduce motorcyclists vulnerability in traffic has been lost. NMC will issue a full statement later.

Pothole Partnership (AA, British Cycling, National Motorcyclists Council, JCB): We welcome extra funding as potholes place real safety hazards for those of two wheels or two feet, and expensive damage. Must be ring-fenced with an emphasis on innovation and more permanent preventative maintenance.
