@jeremymoskowitz I thought the default session token lifetime was 90 days so this doesn’t seem unexpected. You put the machine to sleep so it never deleted the cookie client side or had a chance to tell Entra that it should be expired.

@guyrleech What’s the speed of your PCI slot? If it’s not at least PCI 3 x4 then you won’t be able to get the full speed out of 6 drives especially with raid10 needing to write to twice as many. If the motherboard isn’t doing 6gb sata then that will be slow too.

@guyrleech @leeejeffries If you want to save the CPU for virtualization then get a board that can do RAID in hardware but if you aren’t worried about the performance hit just do software RAID. Does that motherboard support SATA 6? If not you need a new card either way, just depends on budget.

@leeejeffries @guyrleech Does the motherboard have pci x16? Get an sff card and cables and do software raid, each drive will get the full 6gb/s. (Assuming the bios can do pci bifurcation)

@guyrleech @leeejeffries It’ll likely be worse sharing that many drives on a single pci card. What speeds were you getting? 2000MB/s reads?

@guyrleech @cjk365 There’s way to change it that doesn’t require a logout. I used it in VDI for a client that really wanted users to be able to have custom scaling on non-persistent desktops.

People confidently misunderstanding how VLANs work is the number one killer of NetScaler migration projects.
today i found out how many tech professionals on tiktok think vlans are a physical thing on a link & that if a hub were attached to a trunk port it would only be able to show a single vlan

@SwiftOnSecurity A recent example: I wanted an LCD driver board for an old iPad to turn it into a hdmi monitor. $35 on Amazon, arrives mid December. $32 on eBay, same shipping speed. $12 on Ali Express with free shipping and it gets here sooner. Just skip the middleman.
