After yesterday, I'm done hiding as a victim. I was raped & physically abused by a Tory MP. I tried to report it in 2020,the Chief Whip told me to get over it & did nothing. I have medical records,months of rape counselling notes, my parents' first hand evidence. He is still a MP

Then on 16th Dec, Willie Rennie told me not to report him as it wasn’t sexual. The Man had bullied me for over a year. Now he was touching me. I was scared. Willie told me I’d not get selected if I reported.

It’s hopeful to see the Young Fabians’ taking this seriously and suspending the accused members during investigations, but saddening to hear of the situation. We hope all complainants feel safe and supported during this time.

What makes this case even worse is that unlike Westminster, there is no recall procedure in the Senedd, meaning this temporary suspension is all they can do until the general election. A temporary suspension is not justice.
A politician is to be banned from the Senedd for six weeks after he was found to have inappropriately touched and swore at two women while he was drunk on a night out
