On a day that was filled with emotions . . . friends and teammates gathered around one of our own, Christian Flores. He delivers the game winning double in the 6th inning for a 3-2 win. So impressed by Christian, his teammates and his classmates during this challenging time.

Very thankful for the opportunity our players and community members had today. Chances and big plays from both teams in a very well played high school baseball game. The MN Twins made us feel like big leaguers for a day and that’s priceless. Went so fast but has to be a top

No other way to put it ... it’s tough losing your Dad. Going to miss those after game discussions, morning calls, and plenty more. I’ll even miss his left handed running fastball in on my hands for all those years of BP.

Exceptional season! VFW Post 3723 ends the season at State by finishing 2nd place with an overall record of 34-11-1. Beyond happy with the energy and effort everyone put into the season. Very proud of our players, coaches, parental support, fans, and local VFW Post.

Incredibly sad news. Relentless worker at the rink and always there for his players and their families. Heart goes out to his family, his former and current players and all of Owatonna Hockey.
Owatonna head coach Dave Fromm has passed away at the age of 54. Fromm was a impact to hockey communities in Minnesota and Colorado for over 30 years.
Fromm is a former standout goaltender for Minneapolis Roosevelt.
