Tonight the Ocean Springs School District Board of Trustees approved a resolution to rename the Greyhound Baseball Field after Coach Steve Tomaszewski.

Unfortunately, a few students were not recognized during last night's graduation ceremony. We are working to resolve the issue now to make sure EVERYONE gets the recognition they deserve.

Ocean Springs School District is saddened to learn of the passing of beloved OSHS teacher, Mr. Kennon Barton.
Words do not do justice to what Mr. Barton meant to his coworkers and our students. He was truly kind and genuinely cared for every individual that walked our halls.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, OSSD! On this day in 1927, the "Ocean Springs New School" (currently known as "The Mary C.") opened its doors for the first time! The school had 13 classrooms and two labs, and the first graduating class of the "new school" was made up of only 8 students!
Did you know that the class of 2020 at OSHS had the highest average ACT score on the coast and 2nd highest district average in the entire state of Mississippi?! Way to shine bright, class of 2020!
