DAY 1.
Nairobi to Lodwar via Nakuru -Sigor road. 80k of rocky terrain meandering through kerio Valley. The scenery is magical to say the least. There is a 35km unpaved secrion from lokichar, 90km from lodwar Town.

Jana we used the Express way from Entebbe to Jinja Exit past Kampala which was more than 50km. We paid 5000Ugksh ( 166ksh) Kanairo tunaibiwa 😂😂😂😂!!

We did a Nyeri run with CX-5 diesel.
My verdict: Great fuel consumption
Perfect torque especially when overtaking.
Downside: interior is so plastic n basic . Seats are not comfortable especially for long distances.

The route can get treacherous especially after the Mt,Kenya gate, we got lucky it didn’t rain. To conquer this whole trip your ride must be 4*4 with low rage gear box cz some cars could hack the steep on Magnet Hill( Frame one).

Stock up on food,firewood and warm clothes,it can get really cold at night -2 degrees.I experienced high altitude sickness and it was crazy,thought I was gonna die 😂😂😂.The whole trip was just fire 🔥. The view magical.

The road is graded but some section have the dreaded corrogations that may render your suspension useless. 50km/hr speed recommend. Arrived at lodwar at 6pm to a lovely sunset. Total of 624km( 115 off-road)

Visited Todonyang Dispensary,donated medical supplies to help the community around. Enjoyed the lake scenery in Omo delta and drove back to Lodwar along the Jade Sea.

Visited the Nyayo house House arrest for 2yrs. Rumors are Jayden was conceived here 😂😂.Proceed to Todonyang through Kalokol. This is a hot sandy terrain with deep corrogation on quite a number of sections.
