How to memorize one page of Qu'ran Divide the page into 3 parts. Recite each part 50 times. 25 times looking at it. 25 times not looking at it. Once completed recite the entire page 50 times. 25 times looking at it 25 times. not looking at it.

I noticed that the people on social media who actually studied are very low key and don't cause fitnah. The people with no knowledge, no books memorized, and no teachers make the most noise and cause the most fitnah.

It's not only about memorizing the Qurʾān and reciting with good Tajwīd. The Qur'an will actually be against you on the day of judgment if you don't embody prophetic character. Your melodious voice won't save you if you mistreated people in this life.

Whenever I'm having a hard time in my life, I call my grandmother, she was the first Muslim in our family. She always says, pray salatul Haja (prayer of fulfillment of a need or desire). She says dont leave it until you get what you need from Allah.

I used to think that an opening in knowledge meant that Allah would bless you with a photographic memory or something like this. I realized after some time that an opening in knowledge means Allah blessed you to act upon everything you learned.

My advice for the hours between Asr and Magrib on the first night of Ramadan is to recite surah Yaseen with the intentions of welcoming Ramadan. Make sincere intentions to welcome the month of the Qur'an via the recitation of heart of the Qur'an.

We don't learn Tajwīd so that we can post our recordings on social media. We learn Tajwīd so that when we wake up during the last 3rd of the night we recite the Qur’an with everything we have inside of us. With the intentions.... This is for you alone Allah.

Don't break students when they come to recite to you. Don't point out all of their mistakes. Be gentle with them and make them see they have the ability to improve their recitation of the Qur'an. The Prophetic way is a way of mercy.

If all you can do is recite 1 page of Qur'an every day then do so, but after you complete that page pray two rakats of shukr (gratitude) and ask Allah to increase you. It may take some time to build up, but you'll get that relationship with the Qur'an you're yearning for.

One of the Habits of Umar Ibn al Khataab R.A when he was the khalifa was to gather a group of the sahaba R.A after praying Fajr, sit & recite portions of the Qur'an and discuss the meanings of the ayats. May Allah bless us to revive this practice in our homes.

My shayk in Qur'an told me to stop eating out. I immediately listened, and I can see a difference in my spiritual state. Eating halal food from a source that isn't Tayyib has a major effect on you even if you don't perceive it.

One of my teachers informed me that a remedy for constant satanic whispers is to empty your stomach and recite the Qur'an. Fast Mondays & Thursdays. Recite surah Yaseen in the morning, surah Waqia after Asr, surah Mulk and surah Sajda after Isha.

When I didn't know Arabic, hadn't studied any traditional works with qualified scholars I debated everyday on the internet. Once I learned Arabic, memorized and studied a few text, and spent time with scholars...things changed. I see no benefit in internet debates.

When you feel like things are becoming too much and you have no energy to deal with the test that Allah has given to you, surrender. Surrender the affair to Allah. Don't even think about it once you pray two rakats and make intentions to surrender the affair to Allah.

Dangerous times. People with very little knowledge are very loud. While the people of knowledge are silent. Which is understandable. People who have truly studied are not loud and obnoxious. They were trained to be prophetic. This affair is deeper than likes & retweets.

My neighbor, an older Palestinian woman told me that she prayed two rakats of shukr for coronavirus. She said she was grateful that this calamity will be a means for the Muslims to return to the straight path. A pure heart see's the world differently.

The most dangerous thing for a student of sacred knowledge is to obtain a massive amount of knowledge and not have a spiritual guide. The student who doesn't have a spiritual guide should at bare minimum dedicate himself to sitting and doing at least 1000 salawats everyday.
