It's considered a great honour for a property to have a blue heritage plaque. There are less than 2500 properties in London with blue plaques on them. So to have an address associated with 4 global figures is historic. But 5 is just bonkers. For more info info@nubianjak.org

Recently, my experience of Manchester has been coming 2nd to Utd or City. However, yesterday with Ms Karen Gabay's help, we achieved a first in Manchester. The first plaque to a woman of colour. The recipient was Denise Johnson

A pre-festive tribute will take place 11am on Monday 18th December, to Ms Claudia Jones (2nd row, 1st from left) outside the iconic Camden house where she lived and passed away in. She will be honoured with the UK's last blue plaque for 2023 at 58 Lisburne Road, London, NW3 2NR
