I wish more people understood that when children can’t speak their native language, they’re missing out on so much more than just words. It’s the subtle nuances, the culture, the untranslatable essence that can only truly be grasped through their mother tongue. 🥺.
My Daughter speaks Pure Xhosa at 2 years. I didn’t allow English to get to her sooner than her Mother Tongue.
