Well articulated. It is important. A partnerβs love is not enough, it must be the whole family, if you can help it. Especially in marriage. I dated an Indian man before I dated an Arabic man, and the cultures, though both quite strong, are VERY different (in treatment of womenβesp women outside of their culture). The mother in law dynamics could kill you before your time lol

One good joy re running my companies as Iβve grown has been giving my team autonomy, which (I realise) means letting go on my end. Trusting, and I mean truly trusting my team as managers means respecting their ideas. For example, the graphics that Bill makes are final. If Rush chooses to break a website by way of fixing itβ¦ it is the (new) way the website will be. Comments are welcome, and Iβll absolutely have A LOT of questions; but they get the last say. I do not have all the words, but I like that I am finally here. I think it took me a (necessarily) long while to get hereβ¦ to let go in this way. As a creative, trust in my ideas means everything to me. My greatest joys in corporate has been when my bosses respect that I have put enough thought into my ideas, and allow them to fly. I think thereβs room to make mistakes in corporate, and professionals (creatives in particular) need and deserve that space, respect, and autonomy.

@Lol87903988 Haha not at all. I donβt think the men care for their mothers in that way lol. I suppose youβd have to experience it to understand it. Perhaps when I start making films, I may try to visualize some dynamics.

@Mayamak2 Aww DM me some pics when you can. The people of Cambodia are A DREAM! I still remember how WiFi was a public good back then. Did not need to buy a simcard, I was always connected. They approached development so aggressively, and I am so glad it worked out. Will definitely do.

@Mayamak2 Does it? Has it changed? I was there last in 2017, and it did steal my heart, but there was so much construction. Would love to see what became of it. Visit Siem Reap if you can, I did think (then) that it was somehow better that Phnom Penh. And also, their markets are AMAZING!

@wizaj I was a little proud of myself for knowing the exact figure before reading on the graphic lol

But Iβve learnt A LOT building that @KwathuKonnect business to where it is now. I actually miss the days I had imposter syndrome about getting into tech lol. I am now pivoting into finance with @BienCorporation and trying to acquire a new kind of imposter syndrome. Why not.

@AK22_12 You like debate. Itβs wonderful, but I really never have time for it. I hear you, and I do not quite see a need for you to disagree with or debate my stance. Thereβs nothing youβre advancing that exists outside of educational reforms.

@AK22_12 You seem to also need education lol. Holding a PhD does not make one skilled. Itβs okay weβll circle back and catch you up in time.
