A history lesson for #Blackburn @Rovers current owners. 1. Three previous owners won eight trophies between them 2. All were local businessmen 3. All visited Ewood more than once! @RoversTrust @brfcsdotcom @LatestRovers @readrovers @Ewoodparkfinest @TalkOfEwood @blackburnendpod

As an historian my message to #Blackburn @Rovers 🇮🇳 owners is… “You have sat here far too long, for any good you have been doing. Depart, I say, let us have done with you. In the name of God, go”. Parliament 1653 & 1940. @RoversTrust @brfcsdotcom @readrovers @Ewoodparkfinest

Knott End Station on the opposite bank of the River Wyre to #Fleetwood, pre-WW1. Between 1908 and 1930 the line took passengers to and from Garstang & Catterall on the West Coast Main Line; it closed in 1950. Today a Cafe stands where the station building used to be. #Lancashire

I didn't know that Grange-over-Sands on #MorecambeBay had not one but two Piers. Pic is of the one near where the Lido is today and was in use from the 1890s until the 1930s; date post 1904 when the Promenade was built. @morecambe_bay #Lancashire
