We’re outside #FamilyCourtLondon to stop the cruel arbitrary separation of children from their mums, forced adoptions & profiteering by private companies. #PovertyisNotNeglect Take away our poverty NOT our children! The courts are OPEN! @ShabanaMahmood

A new book is being published next week on the history of Wages for Housework – the campaign whose perspective on valuing caring and the mother-child bond led to Support Not Separation. Find out more. Invest in caring not killing! Care income now!

UN says that 44% of deaths in Gaza are children, mostly 5-9 years old; 80% killed in their homes; thousands missing. This slaughter of the innocents is backed by UK government! All children are our children. Stop the genocide! Prosecute the war criminals!

We support loving mother Constance Marten who was desperate to protect her baby after four previous children were taken #familycourt. She sits in prison awaiting trial while violent men are being allowed to abuse & murder children!

We support the Scottish Kinship Care Alliance fighting for money for mums and nans. Caring is protecting, it is skilled work, love and commitment. Pay mothers and nans who care, not the “corporate parent” profiteering from our pain.

We support our sisters in the US @womenstrike_us who also fight against the same sexism & racism to remove children from their mothers with deadly consequences such as Kayden’s Law Bill 55. Still children are being murdered!

President McFarlane speaks on the same platform with Melanie Gill, and later rules in her favour in The Mother v The Father [2023] EWHC 2078 (Fam) and awards Gill costs!! Sack McFarlane!

These unregulated “experts” are embedded #familycourt with domestic violence denying fathers’ groups & CAFCASS, defended by President McFarlane in a toxic combination resulting in thousands of devastating long-term separations of children from mothers.

The outrageous anti-mother bias #familycourtis also exposed @tortoisemedia @TBIJ as so-called “parental alienation” experts, Melanie Gill & Karen Woodall have built an industry accusing mothers of “alienating” children from violent fathers

Opening the courts must help get laws like “presumption of contact” abolished; end speculations of “possible future emotional harm” to justify taking children from loving mums; and stop poverty being treated as neglect.

There is a 20% increase in newborn babies being taken from their mums! These brutal and barbaric separations cause lifelong trauma and drive mothers to suicide. Opening the family courts must help put an end to forced adoption.

This is not the first time that women judges have made sexist judgements – preferring violent fathers over protective mothers – and they join a long line of male judges who do the same. All sexist judges must be sacked, regardless of gender.

Executive director Children and Families @SurreyCouncil vice President @ADCStweetsMs OBE @WardellRshould be sacked and prosecuted! School reported bruises on Sara’s face, after just six days, her SWs said no further action. 4 months later she was murdered!

The family courts are obsessed with fathers’ “right” to their children. Sara’s mother was considered a risk, not her father! Yet it is overwhelmingly men who beat, rape and kill children, and mothers who try to protect them.

Raeside’s final comment: “I am going to hope for the best”. Outrageous that judgements on the life of vulnerable young children are made on “hoping for the best”, when the worst is already known! Judges who protect violent men than children must be sacked

It is Judge Alison Raeside who ruled it was “safe” for Sara Sharif to live with her father who murdered her, despite his 16-year history of domestic violence against Sara’s mother, two other partners and his two children. She should resign!

It’s been a big help that several journalists (in particular @louisetickle and @hansummers) have pursued their right to report family court cases up to the High Court. They won the naming of the judge in Sara Sharif’s case.

It's vital for all mothers fighting to protect our children from abusive fathers & the intrusive state that the truth about what's been happening behind formerly closed #familycourtdoors can be publicly scrutinised. The genie is out of the bottle, & it’s not going back!

We have campaigned since March 2017 for #familycourts to be open & NOW THEY ARE! It’s a massive victory for the movement of mothers challenging sexism, racism, disability discrimination & class bias in #familycourt.
