Maulana Ilyas sb رحمت الله عليه used to carry the waste pans from the toilets of Markaz on his head and would dump them in the forests and thank Allah swt for accepting him for the Khidmah of this Ummah.
I have found that the pious don't consider it beneath them to clean public toilets . It creates humility.

criticism merely because of this Mehnat. No matter how much people try destroying the reputation of Tabligh, they're gonna fail sooner or later Insha'Allah. Prime example is of India where our Saathis had to sacrifice alot but their sacrifices didn't go in vain Alhamdulillah.

We were once sitting in Masjid Nabawi and two locals approached us. One of them was from Pakistan. We understood what they came for. Spoke for a bit and they explained how they do the efforts in the premises and told us where to join in for the Mashwara and the A'amaal.
