يعتبر حقل الشاهين أحد أكبر التجمعات المعروفة للقرش الحوت. ومنذ عام 2022 قامت شركة نفط الشمال بمشروع مشترك مع وزارة البيئة والتغير المناخي و جامعة قطر يهدف إلى دراسة أنماط هجرة القرش الحوت و عوامل تجمعها وذالك من خلال تحديد مواقع التجمعات عبر الأقمار الصناعية.

NOC’s Al Shaheen field hosts one of the largest known aggregations of whale sharks. Since 2022, in collaboration with the MOECC and QU, the Monitoring Project has been using advanced satellite tagging to reveal insights into whale shark migratory patterns and aggregation factors.

NOC participated in the 5th edition of the Career Village at KidZania where students took part in exploring our 'platform', learning about our operations and safety procedures. It was a great chance for us to connect with students and showcase the different opportunities we offer

شاركت نفط الشمال في النسخة الخامسة من القرية المهنية في كيدزانيا، حيث شارك الطلاب في استكشاف "منصتنا"، وتعلموا عمليه استخراج النفط وإجراءات السلامة المتبعة في الشركة. كانت فرصة رائعة لنا في القرية المهنية للتواصل مع الطلاب وعرض الفرص المختلفة التي نقدمها.
