Lions continued their unbeaten start to the league with a 2-2 draw vs Ramsbottom Hounds. Lions would have felt they deserved the win but failure to convert big chances and a late mistake ultimately left them with a share of the points

Lions took control taking a 3-1 lead early in the county cup. However an injury to the goalkeeper turned the game on its head and Lions ultimately lost 7-3 as Reddish took control deservedly. Good luck to Reddish North End in the next round.

The Firsts travelled to last seasons champions Littleborough for this years opening fixture An entertaining game seen the Lions fight back from 2-0 down to a 3-3 draw. The Lions were disappointed with the draw but will take positives for the season ahead. 🦁

A hard fought 3-3 draw with League Champions @cartshaftFC_ meant the Reserves have now gone 2 years unbeaten at home. Incredible achievement .👏👏 One more game left and a win will secure back to back promotions for the lads.

The Lions First team came up short once again at the weekend, losing 2-1 in a close encounter vs Littleborough. Overall a really good performance compared to the previous meeting. Lots of positives to take away. Theres no game for the lads this weekend.

Our firsts poor form continued at the weekend as they were knocked out the Cup by a well drilled @LittleboroughF9 side. The lads will want to bounce back in the league as they face the same side this Sunday at Home.

Our firsts were well beaten by a good @RoytonCCFC side on sunday in an entertaining end to end game. Royton were well drilled and clinical in front of goal, even scoring a brilliant overhead kick. Next up for the first team is a home tie where they’ll host Bolton Castle.

Our reserves maintained their unbeaten run in the league by coming back from 6-1 down, to draw the game 6-6 against Clayton Athletic AFC. The character shown in the second half is something every player must be proud of and take this into the rest of the season.

Joe Riley! is reserves Player of the Month for January! It was a great month from Joe, a single clean sheet for the team but personally he didn’t concede a goal in January. He made some crucial saves, even coming on injured making sure the team remains unbeaten. Well done Joe.

Well done to Ste Lyddon for winning Player of the Month for January. A very difficult decision this month however Ste has returned from injury and scored 4 in 3 games from Centre midfield in January, showing his importance in defence and attack for us, Well done Ste!
