As Steve Plunkett couldn't make our annual awards night, he met Carrow white watch, DCFO Scott Norman & GM Emyr Gough so we could thank him. Steve won fundraiser of the year for the Carl Mills Memorial football match. It raised £26k, for @firefighters999 @MindCharity & EAAA.

We carried out a training exercise at @Nrw_Cathedral last night to test fire fighting and salvage procedures at the historic site. It's really important that we hold training like this with partners to test plans and make sure we are skilled and prepared.

If you're celebrating Bonfire Night, remember, remember that going to an organised display is the safest option by far 🎆 If you are planning fireworks at home, please make sure they come from a reputable retailer and carry the UKCA or CE safety mark

We'd like to thank the @cwa_college for hosting us to carry out a training exercise at their campus in Tennyson Avenue, King's Lynn yesterday. It's really important for our crews to carry out training in different locations, so they can stay prepared and ready to help.

Make sure you have the right kind of fright this Halloween 👻 Please use LED lights in your pumpkins and other decorations this year - they give a great glow and don't risk causing a fire 🎃 Thank you for staying safe this Halloween 👍

We’re training staff from The Compleat Angler in Norwich this morning to use throwlines to help save lives. We'll be teaching them how to spot hazards, provide safety advice to people using riverside areas and use throw bags to help rescue without risk to themselves.
