It was a blast to talk about speech disfluencies and my current work on @becauselangpod ! Check out their podcast to hear me talk on (and also demonstrate a ton of) uhs and uhms! 🫢
Yow! It's our biggest episode ever! Why do we say stuff like UGH, OH, and UM? Amazing chats with @EMdoesCA and @NoraBeier about non-lexical vocalisations. Wherever you get your podcasts.

Come to my #CNS2023 poster F4 (Tuesday 8am) to see the progress on this project, looking at the neural dynamics of anticipatory attention during spoken language comprehension! With @AssafBreska, Lee Miller, @YuliaOganian, @r_mangun & @SwaabTamara
I’m delighted to announce I will be working as a postdoctoral scholar with the amazing @r_mangun and @SwaabTamara at @UCD_CMB starting this fall! I will be funded by NIH (NRSA F32) to study rhythmic and nonrhythmic temporal attention during spoken language comprehension.

@EricaLVerde Could be lots of reasons (we go over some in the paper)! One could be due to the study being online rather than in person (so there's less pressure to be very attentive, the equipment is less responsive etc..)
