Below you will find an archive of the analysis threads I've written, along with other threads where I share my impressions on media I go through in the year.
FGO zoomers don’t remember the time we tried throwing cheese at Medb to escape from prison, and she deflected it with a Medb Kick™️ all while Ishtar took the form of a marketable plushie.
“After all, across history, it was plain old humans who were able to shoot down the stars.”
-Merlin, Babylonia anime
The stars that inspire us, the stars the guide us, the stars shaped our combined history.
Fate is, and will forever be, a celebration of humanity.
They knew how dear Siduri was for players of FGO, especially for those who love Babylonia.
And they gave us a special ED for her the episode of her death.
When I call Babylonia's anime a love letter to the game, this is why.
Let's talk some lore really fast.
Void Shiki is a character that people will commonly call into question the truth behind their words for their strength since we never see it demonstrated. However, with Muramasa's Noble Phantasm, we can do some interesting inferring about it.
This is Fate/Zero's heart. To take life one step at time. To have a dream worth believing in, and to follow it even when the world wakes you by force.
These two are the beating heart of Fate/Zero that makes it a worthy prequel to Fate/Stay Night.
"This is for you, Ishanaten! I shall break through the void to reach the truth! I shall pass beyond the state of zero!"
Ishanaten is a deity she names during her Noble Phantasm, "Ishana Daitenshou" or "Deva Ishana" in Samurai Remnant.
So, who is Ishana and why does it matter?
“I guess this is the end of my journey. I reached zero. I finally managed to achieve what I've been working for all my life. And since I've found it...that's it.
Now that I've reached the zero state, there's nothing left for me to do.
Besides, my own world is long gone.”
Another huge change the anime made was we actually see how Gilgamesh began his assault on Illya's castle. We see him slaughter Sella and Leysritt before he begins his fight with Heracles.
The VN doesn't show us their fate.
I do think it’s hard for some people to conceptualize how much FGO has come to mean to people. There people who started playing in high school who are close to, if not graduated from college and are still following the game.
For all it’s faults, the story does resonate w/ people
Babiloni-ya
A mysterious store suddenly opened in Asakusa.
Potentially due to having collected a large number of unique and unusual items and the owner's unique personality, they continuously attract many customers to their shop.

Kara no Kyoukai high quality theatrical posters
Some of this art is super difficult to find in high quality and without text, so here’s a centralized place to find them
Artist that is credited for all of these is Tomonori Sudo
Best part about FGO is how batshit it can be
I don’t think Nasu back in 1998 imagined Shiki and Fujino fighting ghost skellys with hats alongside an alien Attila the Hun riding a sheep.

Iori and Musashi are wonderful reflective opposites in so many ways... what BB is to Sakura... what Castoria is Artoria... That's the thematic relationship between this student and master.
