If the 'locks are different' then clearly Education isn't the key to success. How are you reinforcing my point while trying to argue it?
@NoCountryHere Please read that part again. The part about education. Follow it down to the last paragraph please.

Clearly from your own composition, Education isn't the key, you just fell through the cracks, you're the exception to the rule. & if unfortunately with all your 'intelligence' you still haven't grasped this, you'll grasp it very soon.
10 years ago, I passed KCPE with top marks (425) from a local public primary school. I could tell the happiness in my mother's face. But I couldn't miss the worry in it too. She knew I'd be called to a big national school, and I was (Maseno). The school fees was 100K annually back then, with extra amounts needed to shopping, remedial classes etc. We tried Equity Wings to Fly, but they wanted a bribe on 150K to give me the scholarship, and we didn't have anything. Since I was among the top in the county, we tried asking for scholarships from the County Education Fund, they declined. My Mom was a PTA teacher at a local High School. They thought she was moneyed - we were barely surviving. My Dad, my Hero, was a renowned plumber but even his salary was minimum wage. We were distraught. I was afraid of what may be. But out of the blues, Dad got gigs - fast. He made over 40K within a few weeks. He would bring the money to mom, and mom would bank them under the bed. That was just enough to get me admitted at Maseno, where in a class of 548, from the very first exam I was number 1. Long story short, 10 years down the line, I'm paying school fees for ALL my siblings. My brother and sister both at top national schools, my baby brother and sister at a local private school, while caring for their every need. I've been able to achieve so much more, but, I want to say EDUCATION indeed IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS, but IN KENYA, THE LOCKS ARE DIFFERENT. Think of everyone else who story is similar to mine(gifted), but weren't as lucky as I was. Our system doesn't reward talent. I would be a manual labourer back at home if Dad didn't get those gigs - many of my peers actually are. Hopefully, we live to be the change this country needs.

Point of correction, the only people saving Kenyans are Kenyans themselves, not KANU orphans like Wamunyoro & the rest.
@NoCountryHere The people are numb... To pained by disastrous leadership, to state killings, to unexplained bodies and deaths. Numb! Statecraft machinations. The side that would rescue Kenya is too self centred and self preserving currently.

RT @sgikandi: Yeah, coping with this energy is for real exhausting. Even the youth need a space to heal ☀️
