I was scrolling through my clips and found that this "person" under the alias of "bestboyfriend" had been clipping random things in my channel. none of these clips had any context so i decided to check out their channel and what i found was rather disturbing.

First of all, I found out that this is a BOT account being used to farm clips of specifically Overwatch streamers. I clicked on the intro video that were provided and learnt the clips are then used for facial / emotion recognition. Which seems harmless right?.

@WorstSombra There is a difference between redistributing clips like using them for videos etc. In comparison to creating a whole database for analysing people's faces AND on top of that targeting women because "You like to look at them more than men".

He also states that he is not breaking any TOS and this is not illegal. which may be true, but this feels like an invasion of privacy by ripping clips from our channels to analyse our faces.

@WorstSombra Personally, i dont want my face analysed without my consent. Just because i stream to a public platform doesn't mean I want my channeled spammed with clips for some experiment or project without my consent. Its just not morally right but thats just my opinion.
