Bernard Nussbaum has died. He was 84. Nussbaum served as a senior member on the staff of the U.S. House of Representatives Impeachment Inquiry Staff 1973-1974. Later served as Counsel to President Clinton. Watch his oral history on our YouTube channel:

In August 1960, VP Nixon tirelessly began campaigning for the election. An injury to his knee landed him in hospital for 2 weeks. This telegram was his response to message from Sen. Kennedy stating he would not campaign until Nixon had recovered (NAID 193135)
