@BackcountryFam To the initial point, I don't think there is anything to question regarding what the Warriors have done. Trading Steph was never and likely will never be an option. What's more confusing is the Wolves blowing up a good thing between Ant and KAT lol

@BackcountryFam The stars are old. People said "those days are over" going into the 2021-202 as well. They have rising young role players. They may never win another championship, but if Steph wants to remain a Warrior you do what you bring in what you can to win one.

@BackcountryFam To get the trade done and get Steph Curry a legitimate star running mate. Jimmy Butler is a two-way player. Less than two years removed from single-handedly willing the Heat to a championship appearance.

The Warriors are failing to acquire talent at every turn. At what point do you have the conversation with Steph Curry that you've failed him and ask him what he wants to do moving forward? If Steph wants out to pursue adding to his rings, I understand.

@kylecagney I mean maybe in terms of big name acquisitions. Bay Area NFL, NBA, and MLB teams have 12 championship appearances and 7 championships since 2010. LA has 8 championship appearances and 5 championships (2 Mickey Mouse) in that same timeframe. Only thing missing is 9er SB 😔

The Heat’s Jimmy Butler has communicated to the Warriors that he’s unwilling to sign an extension there & therefore trade talks to send him to Golden State have ended for now, sources told ESPN.
