Interested in high altitude research and medicine? @unm_emed has lots of opportunities to get involved through the International Mountain Medicine Clinic!! Just spent a few days at 14k ft. of elevation helping the research team and spending ample time outside!! What a dream!

@pallbro As a fellow small town Montanan (with siblings who attended MSU) & currently in the midst of my EM training I have considered Bozeman as a place of practice in the future. Have heard though, even physicians are paid poorly & it’s difficult to afford!! KINDA WILD.

@emily_fri Love the procedures & complex pathophysiology!! I had a lot more time for ultrasound too. Our department has the most EM crit care docs in the country & is filled with so many wonderful EM minded individuals! Rounds could sometimes be fun but length of rounds is what I despise

@l_deliberto You’ll make time for it!! I’ve done some of my longest hardest runs in residency & in the best running shape I’ve ever been - it helps that I live in the foothills & only have to walk out my front door! Hopefully your home is conveniently close to what you like to do!
