Thank you @scotgov and @jenni_minto for the debate today on improving miscarriage care and the launch of the Scottish Miscarriage Framework for Miscarriage to make sure no one is alone when facing pregnancy or baby loss and families have the emotional support they need 🤍
Through our Budget, we will provide £1.5 million to improve miscarriage care. Public Health Minister @jenni_minto announced the funding during a @ScotParl debate. Watch for more.

A wonderful day and evening filled with inspiring people full of our values of empathy, connection and love. Together we can do so much ❤️ no one should be alone after their baby dies x
It is one week on from our special Edinburgh Luncheon event. We left with full stomachs, and hearts, and we are excited about forging new relationships and working together ‘for good’ ❤️ Hopefully the first of many 🫶🏻

Thank you for taking the time to visit our Edinburgh premises and hear more about our innovative Hospital to Home project and the difference it is making to bereaved families. We are grateful for your support regarding making this available to everyone in Scotland. 🏴
It was a pleasure to visit @heldinourhearts to learn more about their baby loss support work. Their hospital-to-home service is inspirational and must be rolled out to all health boards in Scotland. We also discussed how to deliver culturally sensitive bereavement services.

6 years today since I was admitted with kidney failure. Thanks to @NHS_Lothian, my kidneys are now at 30% function. I continued to work and this has meant thousands of families have been supported after their baby dies. I love this thought and thinking about ripples of care 💓

@TamarinNorwood @heldinourhearts Love that you have song of your time together. How special 💙 music is so important when grieving. I have so many songs that remind me of Theo, my mum and dad 🤍

The first of our writing prompts. I’d play ‘Sweetest Gift’ by Sade as I used to play this on my way home after visiting Theo in ITU. It was winter and the moon was always shining. I would pray to the moon to protect him 🌕💙
Music can be a source of comfort in grief, accompanying our feelings, holding private meanings, or reminding us of special times. By thinking about the kind of music you would share with your baby, you can create a stronger sense of who they are, and what they mean to you.
