Strong addition to an offensive line trending in the right direction. He brings a necessary tenacity to the group. His foot quickness and athleticism at the point will greatly benefit Melvin Gordon.
14 years ago today, my name was called as the 66th selection in the 2004 NFL Draft. I wish all of those in this upcoming draft as many positive memories, lessons, relationships, and success as I’ve had in life since that fateful day.

That 1st rd played out perfectly for the
@Chargers
. They got the right guy for Gus’ system. Best player available and a position of need.

Welcome to the family. ⚡️⚡️⚡️
When a defender who has been blocked out of the picture turns his back on the guy who has blocked him...is it really in the spirit of the “block in the back” call?
Very happy to announce that I have just signed a four year contract extension with
@xtra1360
and
@iheartradio
. I want to say thank you to my broadcast partner
@judson_richards
for helping me grow as a sports talk radio host and to my bosses for trusting …
I was inspired to walk on to the
@boilerfootball
team as a sophomore by
@drewbrees
in the spring of 2001. Fatefully, 3 years later, as a
@chargers
rookie, I was sitting in the team cafeteria eating with my head down when I heard a familiar voice say, “He…
Transformation Tuesday
Left: The day I retired from the NFL. 300lbs and about 30% BF
Right: Last month. I workout 3-5 times per week. Eat well. But indulge often. 235lbs and 12% BF. About 3 years between these pictures.

Hell of a win for the
@Chargers
! This close game will be very beneficial for their mental fortitude in the playoffs. Building towards a strong late season push. Bravo boys.
Reminder to
#Charger
fans frustrated by the second half: There are no voters in the NFL. Rankings don’t matter.
The goal is to win games. The less you show the upcoming opponents, and capture the W, the better for long term success. Chargers did both today.

Today Philip Rivers becomes only the 4th QB in the history of the sport to achieve his 200th Consecutive NFL start.
In a game that was created to prove toughness,
#17
has shown us one week at a time throughout the years that he is one of the toughest me…
If...IF he keeps this pace up AND the Chargers make the playoffs...he’s got to be in consideration for MVP. Offense has significantly changed directions since Buffalo game.
#passfirst
In the last 3 weeks, Philip Rivers has completed 72% of his passes for 1,029 yards and 6 TDs with no interceptions.
His rating is 120.5 over that 3 game span.
What a blackmail letter looks like...
Clearly he doesn’t follow my Instagram account. My whole life is documented.
And wouldn’t you say it’s a little low on the asking price?
Hate to say it...but honestly, the
#chargers
didn’t deserve to win that game at all. Penalties, turnovers, and kicking game were costly. The most alarming, however, was losing on both the O and D lines of scrimmage.
Can we keep in mind, the most politically active team in the NFL last year won the SB? Seems to me that
@NFL
athletes are more sophisticated than was once believed.
If we want players to behave like men, don’t we have to allow them to think like men?
#fightstatusquo
Josh Rosen is a near-perfect QB prospect, but his willingness to speak his mind scares teams — “The last thing we need is the face of our team tweeting about the president when we’re on a losing streak.”
The
@Chargers
primary concern in this year’s draft should be to acquire pieces to beat the
@Chiefs
. Chiefs have won 8 straight. Both Raiders and Broncos are rebuilding and should be easily handled. Chargers need more versatile, defensive speed to contend with fastest O in NFL.
My biggest criticism of Tyrell Williams over the years was his inability to make tough catches in traffic. His last two TDs are proving lots of growth for a young player.
For the record...I’m a huge fan of THIS version of Ian Kinsler.
If a double bird is the price for 3-run HRs, sign me up for the nightly tribute.

Tough one at the end. I still believe Herbert needs to be the starter from here on out. He’s playing well enough to give the team a chance to win and grow at the same time. Has things to clean up obviously. But the thought of “protecting him” seems unnecessary.
After going through a full week of work, after being a part of the Chargers’ regular defensive rotation during practice, Joey Bosa is expected to make his 2018 season debut against the Broncos on Sunday, per source. “I’d be shocked if he doesn’t,” source said.
Hope this is for some “strategic gamesmanship” reason. Otherwise I must be watching the wrong channel by accident. Gave a decimated team a great chance to win.
Says a lot when an out-of-conference head coach goes out of his way to pay the kid a compliment.
