Sat in one of my new locals (@foxfridaybrew) in Burswood considering the business reason to charge AU$11.50 for 480ml of IPA. It's not a 'Schooner' (425ml), not even a US Pint (475ml) and nowhere near an Imperial Pint (568ml and The Kings Measure!). I can only think it's to confuse or obfuscate the 'value'. Just sell me a Pint and charge me 16% more. It's not hard. If you CARE.

Do you know why I love Twitter/X. Because I can look at the posts of people I want to follow. I just looked at my Instagram feed. I swear 50% of the timeline is random shit I not only don't follow but don't want to see. It's not chronological. It's not even good. Universities stopped being relevant when their primary focus changed from a seat of learning to a money printing machine. When children stopped being seen as the best and the brightest for the demand of the market to a revenue source with no responsibility for over supply. A fear of China's educational prowess created a system where Oprah like 'you get to be in debt' you get to be in debt, you get to be indebted.' For the majority of their working lives people that were lied to with false promises of successful lives will be in debt. The universities are complicit in the massaging of unemployment figures hidden in further education. Defund them. Stop rorting children and their parents manipulating the market.

Muscles are the organs of longevity because having a strong body means you are less likely to fall and break something when you are 80. Being hospitalized at 80 for a hip replacement is a probable death sentence. The inactivity leads to respiratory issues. I think Uncle Jack means 'getting jacked' when he talks about a pursuit of hypertrophy. There's no 'need' to be jacked, but strong is different. However as you age you atrophy so you need to 'maintain' strength by replacing tissue. And that means circadian led nutrition and exercise. Aka a hunter's lifestyle. 'Hunt. Eat. Rest. Repeat.' That order. Sun. Steak. Sleep.
