Someone please explain this to me because my brain is mush. So a manuscript is meant to be polished “enough”, but an agent can ask for an R&R, but some agents will take you on and go through multiple revisions anyway. But then how do querying authors know what’s ready or not?

I want y’all to know if I ever get an agent, I don’t know if I’ll write a blog post on how I did so, I wouldn’t know how to critique a query or the first few pages. Like I’ll be surprised as everyone else. Think of me as a pigeon, I just go here.

•What if my book sucks

Seriously because libraries/librarians are already acting as social workers, laundromats, and more. I think it’s great libraries help communities, but to ask the same people to do more and they are underfunded, and workers are paid even lesss…crazy!
