A Piper PA-28 Cherokee landed safely this morning on Hwy 40 just south of Québec City Int’l Airport. A suspected mechanical issue caused the pilot to perform this forced landing. No injuries reported.

The only thing I can say is stay off the roads! Everything is slippery, Macleod Trail blacked out around Chinook, and NB lanes blocked at Cemetary Hill. Deerfoot a total mess, and Stoney Trail also a skating rink. Crowchild slick as well. Everything is bad.
