Thank you, @MayorofLondon, for addressing this and offering reassurance. The irony of the hateful, anti-Muslim replies is both sad and disturbing. We must confront this bigotry head-on. Solidarity always.
There is no tolerance for hate in our city and I have been made aware of a series of similar incidents in recent days and weeks in our city. I remain in close contact with the Met Police as they continue their investigations and increase patrols.

Thanks @MPSNewham @NewhamLondon for the swift response to the hateful attack on the masjid in Stratford last night. This is a wake-up call: politicians must act now. Dangerous, divisive rhetoric targeting Muslims +ethnic minorities, fueled by powerful billionaires, must end.

Young lives destroyed through violence and drugs. Justice for Anselam and his family. Great work @MPSNewham @metpoliceuk on this. Initiatives like Project ADDER are crucial, we must come together to stop this senseless violence on our streets.
Rain didn't put off residents of East Ham Newham showing solidarity with the victim of a murder in our neighborhood. We don't know anything about the victim. But it does not matter, no one deserves to die through violence like this. We need to end knife crime on our streets.
