We’ve received reports from well-respected influencers that discussions about our affiliate program have attracted troublesome comments, with some people believing they are being manipulated by Bambu Lab. To address this, we’d like to clarify our approach to reviews and our partnerships. At Bambu Lab, we maintain one of the most open policies regarding reviews. Our approach is simple and open: “Here’s the printer, feel free to do whatever you like.” This can be confirmed by hundreds of reviewers, whether they are part of the affiliate program or not. We never require pre-approval before a review is published, nor do we control what anyone says. Participation in our affiliate program is also entirely optional. Our affiliate program follows standard industry practices. The ShareASale affiliate program is a form of paid promotion. Naturally, affiliates promote products they believe in—why would anyone support a product they genuinely dislike? However, this does not mean we silence criticism. Many affiliates openly discuss both the strengths and weaknesses of our products without issue. Additionally, we are reviewing our agreement terms. Some wording may have led to misunderstandings, making it seem as though we only welcome positive feedback, which is not the case. We aim to have an updated version ready soon, and all Bambu Affiliates will be notified once it’s available. The terms are simply in place to prevent brand misuse or the spread of misinformation, not to shape opinions. We hope this adds some clarity!
