Tough break for Greensboro. Any of Duke, NC State, UVa, Tennessee, VCU, Charleston, Furman, or Asheville probably helps demand for that ticket but they didn't get any of them. UK is their only real national fan base draw:
As always, the teams determine which sub-regionals are a hot ticket for #MarchMadness - this year, two in-state teams going to Birmingham and UConn to Albany are driving the prices there... Where are prices for other regions?

Just saw this sport event EI assessment in a USA Today article (...Good (bad) example of typical EI flaws. Most attendees are likely local and ticket sales are probably not staying local.

A great gesture but it is really hard for sport org's to fight secondary ticket market. Music acts have battled this issue for years (some disingenuously) but secondary and bots often win. If sport org's don't charge market value, someone else will...
We will always be focused on long term fans over short term profits.
