Spot the photographer. Dad, husband, chaser of Aurora, teacher, lover of BBQ, nature, and the city I call home. DM for photographic inquiries or to send me beer
Palate cleanser.
I call it 'Collision'. I waited in this spot in the ditch along Highway 9 just north of Irricana, Alberta hoping all these amazing elements would come together.

There are only a couple times in my career that I think ‘I can’t believe I made that photo’
This is one. Still puts me in awe of the scene. Taken a couple years ago at 3 Valley Gap, BC.
It was one of those mornings that if you didn't see it with your own eyes, you don't believe it. I was lucky to be on a roof shooting a project for

Haha, I was photographing a family in Haysboro when I turned around and spotted this amazing fuzzy peanut gallery watching us from across the street.

Driving home across the causeway tonight, I had to go back and get this photo. The meltwater on top of the reservoir ice made beautiful reflections of the new Glenmore Dam lighting.
Waiting outside the home of a

client, I spot this bunny frozen into the ice on the road. While I'm photographing the family, I mention this bunny. Turns out they lost it a few months ago... and have returned it (cleaned) to its rightful place in their kid's arms! Yay!
Sad times. This is the most interesting Pug in the world’s last day. We made the heartbreaking decision to let him go. We have a few hours left with him for cuddles, tears, McNuggets and curly fries. 15 1/2 years is a long time, but not nearly long enough.

Someone who fought in WWII, at 18 years old in 1945, survived, lived his life, is now 93 years old, at risk for COVID-19, maybe died from it and people look at death #'s and say, oh, it was an old person, way above life expectancy.
These are people - family. Not numbers.
My last Moraine Lake tour until the fall was a great one! We were there to photograph the Milky Way; it was a perfect night!

There. Bring on 2021.
It’s for real! We open today! My amazing family got to see the show early, and I can’t thank them enough for their incredible support. Everything I do is in consideration of these people.
