@KMonkemuller This appears to be the second portion of the duo so the orientation should be slightly different than the bulb orientation that we are familiar with for describing duo bulb ulcers (since the second portion dips downwards). Perhaps @AmerGastroAssn can weigh in 🙂

FDA Approves First Medication for Obstructive Sleep Apnea Tirzepatide, a GLP-1 agonist, is now FDA approved for moderate to severe OSA in adults with obesity. Based on data from 2 RCTs that showed improved AHI from baseline. Good to know for #MASLD pts

Several promising blood-based biomarkers/panels are in various phases of validation. GALAD is furthest along. Shows promise for 📈 sensitivity for early stage HCC detection and likely increased adherence to surveillance! Potential to reduce mortality in HCC 🙏 @AmJGastro

Ultrasound has low sensitivity for early HCC detection alone & 63% w/ AFP HCC 5-year survival is >70% for early-stage HCC vs. <10% for advanced stages. Can blood-based biomarkers (other than AFP) help w/ early detection? 🤔 @AmJGastro #LiverTwitter
