Due to the inclement weather forecast, Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) will dismiss schools two-hours early on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2025. CCPS will re-evaluate this decision tomorrow morning and make any additional announcements by 5 a.m., if necessary.

We crushed our goal of 65% of @NealBlueCrabs students registering for Boosterthon—so today, I got duct taped to the wall during lunch! Our students worked hard, and I was happy to stick around to celebrate!

CCPS is hosting its annual winter chess tournament at @LackeyHS from 8:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sat., Feb. 1. The tournament is open to chess players in kindergarten through Grade 12 with spectators allowed to view the event. Find the registration form here:
