I really enjoy condescending to people so I practice deportation defense and volunteer in harm reduction in a red state.

@phillyliquorlaw @clopotle Ehh. I know lotsa people who had to take the bar multiple times, and for the most part, they’re kinda not good at issue spotting. Solid tap dancers, but not law nerds.

@gemstatebrian Polling only ever hits old people or the unemployed, who are the most vitriolic when it comes to politics, on either side.

@la_chatte_verte @MartinMcAvoy_ @PhilippusArabus The reason I’m asking what you do for work is because I want to know how you spend your days, so that I can have an understanding of why your messages have been so vitriolic.

@la_chatte_verte @MartinMcAvoy_ @PhilippusArabus “Cheap emotional appeals”? You mean, the law? Which exists to ensure the rights of people?

@a_layne96 So then why did he take male parts (Adam’s Rib) to make a woman? Is that somehow not transgender?

@la_chatte_verte @MartinMcAvoy_ @PhilippusArabus A defense attorney’s job is to ensure that the law is not abused as a cudgel by the enforcement apparatus, and that those who wish to detain people, split up families, and remove people from their homes are held to their burden. If the law is outdated, there’s a remedy for that.

@la_chatte_verte @MartinMcAvoy_ @PhilippusArabus “breaking the rule of law with lawfare” is contradictory. Either we’re a nation of due process of law, or we’re not. But thanks for all the meanness about what I do for work. Again, what do you do?

@la_chatte_verte @MartinMcAvoy_ @PhilippusArabus What do you do for work? And so funny how you despise people who work within the legal system.

@la_chatte_verte @MartinMcAvoy_ @PhilippusArabus I have group solidarity with like-minded individuals. I have a community. We take care of each other, and have standards and shared ethics. We’re also mostly culturally homogenous. But the loyalty is based on the shared ethics not the skin color.
