I actually used to write my own summaries up until halfway through FB2 (cuz that’s when COVID hit and we were on that 5 month hiatus). What I realized from writing notes is you’re really just copying things down from the slides and you’re not really retaining much (1)

Plus, it takes a LOOOT of time. Like for me, it took on average about an hour and a half to write my own summaries for each lecture, seminar, learning topic, etc. And something that really hit home for me were these word from a med school vlogger (she’s now an OB/GYN!!) (2)
